Prerequisite
To get to the next level we have to finish what we started.
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans.”
What we do here will determine what we do in heaven. What we do here counts. The experience we gain on Earth will give us the insight we need for our eternal title and how we govern in the supernatural. It's not just your trade it's how we represent the One who placed us in that position. It's not just our education that will give us a shoe in but our training on being who we say we are in and out the church.

God gives us multiple choice exams everyday. The question is are we selecting the right reaction, the right words, the right thoughts? Or are we rewriting the entire syllabus to fit our ways and our personalities? Are we repeating introductory lessons because we are not allowing God’s plan to change us or are we surpassing to the next level with the materials and resources He has supplied us with?

Whether we realize it or not God is examining our performance with what He has given us to see if we are going to complain, give up or leave an assignment incomplete. Whether our workplace is taking care of children at home or waking up early before the crack of dawn to get to our workplace we have a job to do. We have a course to finish. Just like college requires us to take an entry level class to get to an advanced level of thinking it is important to master the basics of our faith for God to take us to the next level in our walk with Him. He is our only instructor that will take us by the hand and guide us to a greater understanding. However, He will never force us to finish what we started; He leaves the completion up to us.

Have you taken a premature exit slip on your faith? Have you dropped what you were once enrolled in because it was too hard or confusing? God is always available. His course is always open. His class is always free. How are we taking advantage of His wisdom and favor? What level is your obedience? Is it beginner, proficient or exemplary? Stay the course be committed and God will make you a doctorate in your field of faith. You may not have a been a valedictorian in your school days but you can be Magna Cum Laude in His court of scholars. Proverbs 16.3
