Poem: Call me Clown

This is another random poem. I was in the mood today after months of a dry spell. I hope you enjoy!

Call me Clown
Crazy foolish child
Leave dreams for drunks and bums
Every scholar knows faith should be dropped in a sea of wishes
Luck is much better to grab
Chance is the cousin of all
Breathe in the heavy sighs of a glass generation
We do it all our own, we are god.
Call me clown but
I hold on to a tightrope of hope
Base jump blindfolded from jagged mountains  of faith all smiles
Skydive from morality jets of promise
 into passing clouds of joy
“Laugh” as Favor falls with the glitter of the sunset
“Point” as the harlequin juggles small blessings big blessings, jaw dropping blessings in clear anointed hands
Call me clown why don’t you?
I am running the race set before me.
Love bleeds from my heart
I run for you
Don’t have time to pitch a tent or get high
I’m needed on the road as all the rotten stuff passes me by.
I switched from floppy to mission trainers
Now the finish line breaks more than tape and
Deters a final destination
? Who is laughing now?  Me.
